2025年4月25日，四川大学华西医院邵彬、张平、郭应强共同通讯在 Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy(IF=40.8)上发表的论文“A20 attenuates oxidized self-DNA-mediated inflammation in acute kidney injury”，探究了泛素编辑酶A20在AKI中的作用，尤其是在自身DNA介导的炎症反应方面。

已知，泛素编辑酶A20可以调节炎症并维持稳态，但其在急性肾损伤（AKI）中自身DNA介导的炎症中的作用尚不清楚。本研究发现氧化的自身DNA在AKI小鼠和患者的血清中积累。这种氧化的自身DNA通过激活cGAS-STING通路和NLRP3炎症小体加剧了AKI的进展。虽然抑制STING通路仅能轻微减轻AKI的进展，但抑制NLRP3炎症小体介导的焦亡显著缓解了AKI的进展，并提高了AKI小鼠的存活率。

随后，该研究发现Tnfaip3（编码A20）在氧化自身DNA处理后显著上调。A20通过抑制STING信号通路和NLRP3介导的焦亡显著减轻AKI的发展。此外，A20衍生肽（P-II）还显著减轻了ox-dsDNA诱导的焦亡，并改善了AKI小鼠的存活率和肾脏损伤。总之，本研究揭示了A20减轻 AKI中氧化的自身 DNA 介导的炎症的新机制。它为 AKI 的发病机制提供了新见解，并为这种危及生命的疾病的治疗提供了潜在策略。
